h. Amazon Rain Forest Misc Part 4

This will conclude our section on the Amazon Rain Forest.

This is the normal means of transporting produce to the market in Iquitos. This boat will get there in a full day of travel, the people will spend the night in Iquitos, then return home the following day unless spending more time in “the big city”.

Every city, town, and village has its own football (soccer) field and there is lots of inter-community competition.

This is the elementary school. We went in and spent a fair amount of time visiting with one of the teachers.

Boat heading upstream to Iquitos. That is where we will go tomorrow on our way to Lima. This has been a fantastic visit and we are now ready to move on to new adventures.
