a. Lima City Tour
We only had one day, and much of the time was spent on the bus, so pictures are sort of sparse and in many cases distorted from shooting through the glass.

The National Cathedral. Pictures were permitted, without flash only, so lighting is not overly good. This first picture is the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, Spanish liberator of Peru. followed by his coat of arms.

Restoration on old old stuff.

The main city square, Plaza de Armas, area.
Area in front of Cathedral.

Archbishops residence.

National Palace.

Cathedral from a distance.

Buildngs around the Plaza.

Fountain in Plaza.

Cross built on a peninsula (viewed from our hotel room) in honor of Pope’s visit a few years ago.

This ends the city tour. A very special stop was at the Rafael Larco Herrera Archeological Museum which is in following post.
